About the Founder
Hey there, I'm Sravanthi, the Founder and the Creative director of Sia. From a young age, my fascination with fashion was kindled by my family's involvement in garment exports and my mother's impeccable style. Fueling my passion, I graduated from NIFT Chennai with a fashion design degree and later to further hone my skills I pursued various short courses in design, styling, and marketing from London College of Fashion. Throughout my academic journey, I interned with various brands, immersing myself in the nuances of this dynamic industry.

Post Under Graduation, I dived into the exhilarating world of fashion as a designer for a renowned brand. The experience ignited a spark within me to establish a brand that embodies my essence: creative, cool, humorous, and joyful. It wasn't until my final semester at college that my love for printmaking emerged, ultimately becoming my USP. Join me on this vibrant journey of creativity and self-expression!"

The name Sia is indirectly derived from the Founder and the Creative director's name Sravanthi. When she wanted to name her brand she wanted it to be something close to heart and a reflection of who she is : creative , cool , humorous , happy, fun and the like and so is SIA . Sia means bringing joy into your lives. These characteristics are incorporated creatively in each garment we make either through the print , silhouette, embellishments or fabrics .

By adopting a made to order shopping model we effectively regulate our inventory and thus minimizing overproduction. We make conscious use of fabric scraps, repurposing them into stylish scrunchies, tote bags, and garment covers. Opting for digital printing significantly reduces water consumption, aligning with our commitment to sustainability at every level of production. While we strive for sustainability in every step of our process, we acknowledge there's always room for improvement. To minimize our ecological footprint, our packaging is not only biodegradable but also reusable and plantable, ensuring we leave a positive mark on the environment."
